Letter To Friends & Families
As you are probably aware, we have contracted with a consulting firm to begin the process of selling the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. To ensure we include terms and conditions that provide for the needs of residents and staff while protecting the citizens, we ask for your participation at one of two town hall meetings in person or via Zoom, on Monday, November 23, 6:30 – 8 p.m. and Tuesday, December 1, 6:30 – 8 p.m., Cumberland County Courthouse, 1 Courthouse Square, Carlisle.
We are holding these meetings to hear your thoughts on what we should consider to propose to potential buyers regarding what would make Claremont a top-notch facility for our residents and employees. While we know some have strong opinions on the sale of the facility, we want to hear from you on what we need to look for in a buyer that will make our residents more comfortable, happy and satisfied during their stay at Claremont.
In person attendance is very limited based on current COVID-19 guidelines. Registration is required to ensure everyone’s safety. Attendees will need to get a temperature check and answer a COVID-19 questionnaire. If you are having symptoms or have been in contact with someone with COVID -19, please attend via zoom. Register in person at http://CumberlandCounty.eventbrite.com. Participate via Zoom at www.zoom.us, meeting ID is 976 5023 6555. For public comment via Zoom, register by calling 717.240.6150 by 4:30 p.m. the day of the meeting.
